I recently organized a private photography tour of Australia with Alan Barker. I explained to Alan that I had never visited Australia before, and had only one week to spend there this trip. Based on my shooting preferences and the time line we had to work with, he put together an excellent photographic itinerary for me. Within that time frame we were able to photograph Sydney Harbor at sunrise, sunset as well as from the very top of the bridge. We than flew to Cairns, and spent the rest of the time photographing the ring of waterfalls, the Daintree Rain Forest and Mossman Gorge. Alan also arranged a special treat, where we photographed the Great Barrier Reef from an doors-off helicopter.
Alan arranged all the internal flights, hotel accommodations and restaurants. Everything was done with perfection, which made the trip more enjoyable. I also appreciated his tremendous knowledge of photography and his style of teaching which is not intimidating at all. I am a serious hobbyist and have been shooting for a long time, but am grateful to Alan for picking up many new tricks and improving my photographic skills, particularly with composition. I am planning on doing another trip with him in the future and highly recommend him for anybody whom wants to do a customized Photo Tour.
We had a family portrait shoot on the 25th March, 2017, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Alan made all of us, in particular our two young girls, at ease and relaxed and we were impressed with his professional and relational manner. He was open to our ideas and communicated well with us both before the event and during the photo shoot. We were impressed with the quality of Alan’s work and cherish the photos we now have of our family.
We had a family portrait session with Alan in the studio and we very happy with how it went. He was able to put us at ease and we felt quite comfortable during the shoot.
He listened to what we wanted to get from our photos and was able to get some great expressions from our kids. We'd be happy to recommend him to our friends.
The guestbook is empty.
